If your instructor agrees with your participation in this program, they will tell you to register. If you register without prior consent of an instructor, we cannot guarantee your instructor's approval and your registration fee may be refunded to you, minus an administrative fee of $45 for handling of improperly submitted registration materials. Applicants must be licensed clinicians, or if you are a graduate student, a letter from your Department Chairperson giving permission for your participation in this program must be sent to your faculty person.
Course sites which have two faculty listed will have one course co-taught by both faculty. To begin the registration process, use the information on the Faculty Page to contact the faculty member in your area for permission to register. Calendar of Programs with Instructors Contact Information
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: |
Registration is limited to 12 persons per site (add online limit). Participants must be licensed professionals, and students must also receive the approval of the local faculty to attend. Clinicians in training may attend with the written recommendation of the chairperson of their training program/department. Clinicians who attend these courses must already be treating a person with a major dissociative disorder. Our experience is that unless that is the case, participants do not have enough contextual experience of dissociative processes to be able to really take in the course material in a meaningful way.
Remember, if you register without the prior approval of a faculty member, your registration may be refunded to you less a $25 administrative fee. When you click to register you are indicating that you have read the preceding paragraphs about the details of this program, and the rules surrounding the processing of registration fees. |

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP OFFER
In November 2003, the Executive Council voted to offer a discount for membership in the ISSTD for those persons who have never been members and were registering for the ISSTD Professional Training courses. This represents a substantial savings and the benefits of membership to course participants. To participate in this program please contact Headquarters at 703-610-9037 for the special ISSTD Professional Training participant membership opportunity . This does not change your registration fee for the course (you would still register as a non-member), but it does give you of online access to the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation, as well as other benefits of membership. Membership with ISSTD begins January 1 and expires December 31 in any calendar year. Membership fees are not pro-rated based on the month you join.
For participants outside North America, please be aware that membership fees are pro-rated based on grouping countries on the basis of international data on comparative purchasing power amongst nations. Your membership fee may actually be well below the discounted rate. Please contact ISSTD Headquarters for more information.
